Lisa Dial

Lisa Dial, CPA, brings a remarkable track record of success to Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions. With over forty years of experience, Lisa has played pivotal roles in various industries, including public accounting, medical, agricultural, construction, and recruiting. As a business owner herself, Lisa's expertise in small business and non-profit success is unmatched. Her tenacity and dedication to her clients have earned her an irreplaceable position in the industry. When she's not busy leading her team, Lisa enjoys spending time with her seven grandchildren, indulging in golf and orchid cultivation, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Jennifer Herb

Jennifer Herb is a valued member of the Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions team. With a Master's in Education from Troy University, Jennifer's career path took a significant turn when she transitioned from teaching to accounting. Her decade of experience teaching elementary and middle school provided a strong foundation for her attention to detail and organizational skills. Since joining the firm in 2020 and becoming QuickBooks certified, Jennifer has focused on delivering exceptional bookkeeping services to her clients and managing the firm’s operations. Outside of work, Jennifer treasures quality time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys traveling to see friends all over the globe, running her neighborhood bunco group, and keeping up with her latest book club reading assignment.

Erin Francis

Erin Francis brings her unwavering dedication to helping others to her role at Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions. With a background in social services, Erin has spent her career supporting at-risk young people as they navigate the challenges of adulthood. She excels in empowering individuals to advocate for themselves while also training professionals on best practices in the field. Recently, Erin embarked on a new adventure, transitioning to a full-time life on the road in her Class C RV. Alongside this bold move, she established her own virtual assistance company, offering clients a range of valuable services, including clerical assistance, QuickBooks and bookkeeping support, and basic HR guidance. Erin holds a bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and is currently working towards obtaining QuickBooks certification to enhance her expertise.

​When Erin isn't hard at work, you can often find her planning her next exciting road trip, indulging in local culinary delights, being engrossed in a captivating book, or creatively arranging an impressive array of plants in her camper.

Landy Dutton

Landy Dutton is an esteemed professional at Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions, bringing with her a wealth of experience and qualifications. With an accounting degree from the University of Alabama, she put her passion for numbers to good use by becoming an ICBA Certified BSA/AML Professional and Certified Internal Auditor. Throughout her 40+ years in the financial services industry, Landy has made remarkable contributions in areas such as audit, policy development, information security, risk assessments, business continuity planning, and crisis management. Clients have learned they can rely on her technological expertise and sharp eye for fraud detection, making her one of the most trusted advisors around. Having retired as vice president, internal auditor, and operational risk manager for Summit Bank N.A., Landy is now dedicated to assisting clients with her expertise in internal controls. She loves to spend her free time with her granddaughters and also enjoys reading, bird watching, walking her golden retriever, gardening, and playing Bunco with her neighbors.

Angie Herb

Angie Herb brings a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to her role at Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions. Following her graduation from the College of Charleston, Angie embarked on a fascinating career as a Marine Mammal Trainer, honing her skills and passion for marine life. Her journey took her to prestigious institutions such as Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut and the New York Aquarium on Coney Island. She ultimately retired from the field in 2018 after serving as a Senior Trainer at the renowned Georgia Aquarium. 

In 2018, Angie joined forces with Lisa Dial, CPA, at a CPA firm in Atlanta, where she contributed her expertise to financial audits and bookkeeping endeavors. Now, she eagerly supports Lisa, her dedicated team, and their valued clients at Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions.

​When Angie isn't diving into the world of numbers and spreadsheets, she dedicates her time to keeping up with the energetic pace set by her two young children. Together with her family, she enjoys exploring the wonders of National Parks, engaging in the captivating hobby of birdwatching, and making regular visits to the Georgia Aquarium, where her passion for marine life continues to thrive.

Peter Gillis

Peter Gillis is a multi-talented professional at Piedmont Accounting & Business Solutions. With a math degree from the University of Georgia and years of experience in accounting, both in public and corporate settings, Peter brings a unique perspective to the team. His diverse background also includes owning an art gallery and frame shop for 13 years, along with holding a mortgage loan officer license. As the resident QuickBooks expert, Peter has honed his skills in utilizing the software across various industries for over 25 years. Beyond his professional endeavors, Peter indulges in a range of hobbies, including animal rescue, reading, cycling, tennis, and pickleball. He takes great pride in his family, having raised his daughter who now lives in Seattle and supporting his son's studies at the University of Georgia.
